here is something i realized today which makes this blog, particularly this post, very ironic.
i find it quite hilarious how i write these posts and address them to you guys when there really is no you guys, because i don't think one person in this world has seen my blog, it is really just me and my posts so i really don't know why i write them yet i keep writing anyways. 
i felt that thought needed to be shared.

eye candy.

a balanced diet is a cookie in each hand.

tonight, i made cookies. whole wheat oatmeal chocolate chip cranberry cookies, to be specific.
i think i've mentioned this before, but i love cookie dough.
which is why normally only about half of the dough actually makes it to the oven.
which is also why right now i feel like puking.


cookies are pretty much the most simple baked good that you could possibly make. somehow, i just cannot get it right, the insides just do not bake. i consider it a talent, really, because it consistently happens every time i bake cookies.

people fascinate me. i think this is why the face is my favorite thing to draw. you can tell a lot about a person from their eyes, i find.

I love shoes. Especially these ones.

yesterday, I found the Free People website. I have seen tons of Free People clothes and they are amazing too, but I had never seen any of their shoes. I find the shoes are just so unique and interesting. I don't think there was a single pair that I did not want.

I love the vintage feel of these shoes. They are so feminine and classy. Booties like this are one of my favorite styles of shoe right now. I would wear these with everything I own. You could easily give them an edge with leather leggings or hardware but they would look just as cute with a girly dress.

These shoes are just so much fun. They really pop and stand out. They are transformable; you could very easily dress them down or up. They have a more modern, simple design than the other shoes that Free People designs. They are classy yet, because of the neon color, still playful and fun.

I love the worn out, almost vintage feel of these boots. I like the metal hardware as well, and the buckles give them an almost Western edge. The thing I love about all of this brand's shoes is the scruffy, worn look they have, it makes them look really unique, almost as though they are one of a kind and not the same old.

Honestly, I just need these shoes. They are gorgeous. They look so casual and comfortable, but at the same time, very chic. I love the colours. They are pretty versatile, I think they could be worn with a lot of different things and I would wear them with a lot of different things.

I have some exciting news. I am way too excited about this and I really need to let it out;

Taylor Swift came out with a new song today!

Some people tell me I'm obsessed. I don't deny that. Others would describe it as fanatical, or infatuated; bordering on unhealthy and crazy. Oh, well. You just can't deny that she is not only an amazing singer, she is beautiful, responsible, sweet, funny, fashionable, honest and the list goes on.

Back to the point. The new song is really good. Its called Today Was A Fairytale. She wrote it for the Valentines Day soundtrack. Another exciting thing; she is in the movie Valentines Day, it's her first movie! I plan on going opening night, for sure.

Here's a funny, pathetic story.

This morning, when Taylor Swift's new song came out, I spent a good ten minutes freaking out about it...by myself. I then went to the iTunes Store and listened to it. Freaked out for another ten minutes. Next, I tried to buy it on iTunes, and discovered that I am a part of the iTunes Canada Store, not the United States store. Freaked out (mad this time, not excited) for another five minutes. Tried to change stores and was not able to because I had store credit on the iTunes Canada store. By this point, my annoyance was turning to anger. I spent my unused $15.00 gift card on random songs that I will never listen to so I could switch stores. Still was not able to switch. Freaked out for fifteen minutes. Finally came up with the brilliant idea to download it on Limewire. To summarize, I spent a good hour of my morning trying to get that song so that I could listen to it over and over again for the entire day.
